After-Hours Clinic   --   AppCard REQUIRED for ALL Services!

The After-Hours Nurse Clinic is to care primarily for students with minor injury or illness. It is staffed by either a Medical Doctor or a Nurse Practioner along with registered nurses.  Appropriate nursing treatment and/or referral to a clinician is provided.

Fall and Spring
Monday thru Friday:   4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Saturday                   10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Sunday                       2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Summer and During Times of Limited Services
The After-Hours Clinic is Closed

Location: Health Services is located on the Second Floor of the Miles Annas Student Services Building
above the University Post Office (Find Us on the University Map)

After-Hours Telephone Nurse Service

If you need help with a medical problem after closing or before our office reopens, you may contact our after-hours nurse telephone service. To speak with a Registered Nurse, call (828) 262-3100 and follow the prompts. If you have an immediate emergency, dial 911.

Observation Unit Services

An Observation Unit is provided to monitor the conditions of those who require constant care and/or observation. It is staffed by registered nurses.  The Observation Unit hours are:

Fall and Spring
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Wednesday from 9:00 - 6:00 pm

Summer
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday from 9:00 - 4:00 pm

During Times of Limited Services
Observation Unit is Closed
