The Health Service closes at 4 PM on both Thursday and Friday May 10th and 11th.

Monday May 14th through Friday May 18th The Health Service is open 8 AM to 11 AM with limited services (the Pharmacy and X-ray departments are closed!).

The Health Service is closed all weekends during Summer Sessions.

   As a result of the recently released requirements from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), details for the 2012-2013 system-wide plan are still being finalized. Please check after May 1st for an update.

HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENT (click for directions):  Verify your waiver for the Fall Semester 2012.

Students need to verify their insurance policy information each semester using the online verification page as directed below. Pearce and Pearce will begin the verification process on June1, 2012. Students will be contacted by email as to the status of their waiver request.

Students who do not provide verifiable health insurance information will be automatically charged for the premium into the UNC system-wide student health insurance plan and billed $709.00 for the fall semester.  Proof of insurance must be verified by no later than September 15, 2012 to avoid paying the $709.00 insurance premium.
