Women's Health
Women's Health Services reflect a commitment to our Mission Statement, as "we endeavor to engender good health habits and attitudes that may project themselves into practices that will enhance the future and physical well-being of those we serve." Women's Health Services are preventive in nature, promoting healthy attitudes about healthcare for women. Services are designed to be sensitive to the needs of the women of Appalachian State University.
Women's Health Services including routine pelvic and breast examinations, treatment of gynecological problems, pap smears, counseling, and contraceptive services are provided. Pap smears are done by appointment only.
