Cassandra Stull, PA-C
Cassandra Stull grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, just north of Pittsburgh. She graduated from Saint Francis University with an MS Physician Assistant Sciences in 2001. She has been a certified Physician Assistant since 2001. She worked with the National Institute of Health and in a multidisciplinary practice in Pennsylvania before moving to the High Country with her husband in 2005. She has been part of the M.S. Shook Student Health Service team since 2011; prior to this she worked in Family Medicine in Boone. She enjoys working with patients on preventive care and health goals. She is a part of the collaborative Eating Concerns Treatment team. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, traveling, most physical sports/activities, and cooking. Cassdandra feels grateful to live, work, and play in such a beautiful area.

Tanya Stevens joined us at App State in October 2018. She completed her Bachelor of Science degrees at App State and also Lenoir Rhyne University. Her Master of Science degree with Nurse Practitioner concentration was earned at East Tennessee State University. Ms. Stevens has been an ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 1998. She previously worked at NC State for 18 years. Women's Health is her specialty. Ms. Stevens' hobbies include travel, outdoor activities, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and dog.

Jerica Smith is from Tennessee and has been a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Urgent Care since 2001. She loves all aspects of health care, especially women's health, and is part of our Eating Disorder Care Team. Jerica enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and loves living in the mountains.

Nancy Patz is originally from Connecticut where she was a medic with the Connecticut Air National Guard. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with an undergraduate degree in biology and then attended Wake Forest University graduating with honors in Physician Assistant Studies. The first five years of her career were spent in Internal Medicine and Family Practice. She then worked for 20 years at UNCW's Student Health as a staff PA. She joined M.S. Shook Student Health Service in 2021. She has special interests in women's health, preventive medicine, infectious disease, and dermatology. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking, running, and reading. She lives in Blowing Rock with her husband, Charlie. Her son Mark attends App State and is majoring in molecular biology.

Ladeana is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed dual Masters of Science degrees in Nursing with concentrations in Family Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Research Management at Duke University and also holds a Post-Master's certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from UNC Chapel Hill. In addition, she is currently in the process of obtaining an academic/research PhD in Developmental Psychology at Liberty University.
She is originally from East Tennessee and recently moved back home to the mountains with her husband and children after living in the Charlotte, NC area for 20 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, live music, and furniture restoration.
