UNC System-wide Insurance Plan
The UNC plans benefits include a comprehensive major medical plan with specific enhancements that provide an unlimited lifetime maximum major medical benefit and a vision care plan. The plan is meant to help students when they cannot receive care at the Student Health Service, when they need hospitalization, a specialists care, or when they are traveling. The plans coverage for Fall Semester is from August 1 - December 31; Spring Semster is from January 1 - July 31 and is billed each semester.
